“I have been a follower of Bob, especially the Weekly BobBlasts for what seems like decades, ever since I took a class from Bob at Chico, California.

My interest and inspirations for paintings usually come from the outdoors and nature; Bob’s Blast #245 resonated with me as I was trying to move away from realistic paintings to a more abstract or personal interpretations. It showed me that it is ok to eliminate or move trees and rocks (and mountains) around for design considerations. And it’s ok to have red or blue foliage in trees!

I always look forward to the new Monday BobBlasts and often look back and review the older ones on the website. Winning the BobBucks 500 anniversary gift was exciting and can’t wait to spend it.
