What is a Still Life and does it have to be so STILL?

This Zoomin’ with Bob workshop is all about learning that Still Life paintings can be alive, filled with implied motion and plenty of structural elements to keep it interesting!

•You will learn about how to compose an interesting still life with your own personal point of view
•You will practice with light source, light direction and shadows
•You will learn about contrast and color to make your work more dimensional and alive

This information may change your entire way of thinking about a painting a Still Life. There are many possibilities!

•Windows and doors show light direction
•Mirrors can bounce visual reflections
•Chairs, tables can draw the eye to the focal point
