Imagine yourself painting the live, undraped model on large format paper or canvas. Because this is an online workshop, you will be painting along with Bob in your own studio. Bob will instruct how he paints on a larger format.

Our professional model Pash will create a different “set” for each day and will start off the day with five minute poses to help everyone warm-up. Everyone will see the same view that Bob sees of Pash’s pose. This workshop will be on the zoom platform with a split screen, so you can watch Bob paint and watch the model at the same time. We strongly suggest you have the most current version of Zoom – or use your web browser instead of the zoom app – in order to see the split screen on your device.
Abstract Figure Painting workshop is a 2 day, 4 hours daily workshop. Plenty of painting time and comments from Bob. Get ready for the exhilarating thrill of painting larger, looser and freer.

This loose acrylic painting workshop can help you with your personal vision and energy. Bob will be painting and talking about the why and the how he paints. Pash has been Bob’s model for over fifteen years. He says, “She makes me want to be a better painter.”

Plenty of lecture and demo notes via the zoom chat, constructive critiques and personal painting time. Handouts will be emailed.
Bob can’t wait to paint with you!
