Nonprofit Sponsor – Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation
The mission of Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation (DCAF) is to bring cultural enrichment and educational opportunities in fine arts to northern Wisconsin and beyond. In 1923, the Peterson family purchased the White Sand Lake peninsula in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin. In 1934, Dillman’s Bay Resort was founded, a year-round resort handed down through four generations.  Sue (Peterson) and Denny Robertson operate the resort together with their children, Stephanie Skotterud and Scott Robertson. Denny, an accomplished artist, envisioned bringing world-class art workshops to northern Wisconsin. Beginning in 1978, workshops were offered; they quickly gained popularity, and the nonprofit DCAF was established. DCAF offers an average 35 workshops annually, serving approximately 200 students aged 25-80 years.
