Dear Artist,

"Say, What's the Big Idea?"

I find when I work on a series that has a BIG IDEA, over and over - I'm more involved in the work. If I don't have an idea to start with, how do I know when the painting is finished?

It's like the saying "If you don't know where you're going... how do you know you've arrived?"

For me, a painting tells a story. It clearly communicates my big idea.
Besides, I enjoy the story telling process using paint.

I know, right?
