Dear Artist,

Make your painting YOUR painting.

Authentic creative expression comes from attention to the task and intentions of the artist.

Beware of those paintings that swirl, dive and twirl everywhere and don't communicate anything.

An "untitled" painting doesn't help matters either. I call those paintings Phony Far Outs. They may be catchy and eye popping, but for me, they don't go anywhere.
