Dear Artist,

Inspiration and Imagination

My parents had a framed print of Gainsborough's Blue Boy in the living room while I was growing up. It was always there. Not my favorite - but I stared at it and studied this piece for years. I think I can remember every brush stroke.
I was inspired...

I'm completely taken with the possibilities of pure painting.
Imagination is a must. Here are two of the many attributes for an imaginative, creative painter:

Imagination - You are vivid and colorful. You have a sense of urgency.

Independent Thinker - You find out things for yourself, not just what you have read or seen.
