Dear Artist,

Stuck? This works for me.

First thing I do in the studio is paint a "one minute painting".

Choose ANY word randomly from Roget's Thesaurus and paint your interpretation of that word in one minute. Do this exercise several more times with different words. I particularly like to use action words such as "migrate" or "jiggle".

Now go paint a Big Idea.
